A layer of aluminium foil wrapped helically or longitudinally as a shield in contact with a single tinned copper wire
PE outer sheath:
Compound of type Ill, class B, category 4 or 5 and grade J3, according to ASTM D – 1248

Application
All outdoor cables are principally suitable for installation in most types of plants. Cables with an outer sheath of PE without adequate protective measures should not be used in plants with fire explosion hazards.
None of these cables are suitable for power installation purposes and are mainly operated at low frequencies and only in the circuits. Also, they are used as primary and secondary cables in local telephone networks, as railway communication cables and in industrial plants.
